3 Valentine’s Day Menus & A Poll

 Anxiety. Irritation. Tension. Pressure.

If you are experiencing these, or any other related symptoms, you may be suffering from Valentine’s Day Rut Disorder. It’s a real thing. Aside from its aggravating symptoms, a positive correlation exists between it & a similar serious condition. Valentine’s Day Apathy Disorder. It’s also a real thing. Sometimes planning the perfect Valentine’s Day for you & a loved one isn’t all chocolates & roses. Sometimes it’s a down right pain in the “you-know-what”. Valentine’s Day Gift? Didn’t we JUST go through this two months ago? Yeah, it was called Christmas! Sure you can always do the stand by “go out to eat” routine…but if you’re anything like me, eventually that gets old. Or God forbid…predictable.

If you don’t relate to anything I’m saying, forgive my cynicism. Maybe you’re set & ready to go equipped with your arsenal of lingerie & massage oils. Maybe your significant other does all the planning & you sit back & enjoy the ride.

Whichever boat you find yourself in, nothing says “I love you” like a homemade meal. Showing someone you took the time to prepare something is personal & memorable. Adding a theme to your meal is creative enough to take it to the next level.

Below are 3 themed Valentine’s Day Menus I put together from inspirational pictures. Each food item is linked & comes from a trustworthy source. Just click on the picture to find the recipe (some are pretty straightforward like wine & champagne with strawberries). Mix & match or let the ideas serve as motivation to create your own theme! If you have to work on Valentine’s Day just prepare in advance. Shop a couple days before hand. Prep & cook things that can be refrigerated the night before. Planning ahead is the key to a successful & stress free dinner. Effortlessness is the new sexy. Didn’t you know? P.S- Don’t let the names or pictures intimidate you. Every single one is do-able.
