What I Ate Wednesday #9

What I Ate Wednesday – Wedding Edition

Happy Wednesday everyone! Last Saturday was my friend Kory’s Bachelorette Party/Shower. It was filled to the brim with plenty of delicious eats. So many in fact that it requires it’s own post. It pretty much overshadowed the rest of the week. That is aside from St. Patrick’s Day, but you don’t want to know what I consumed that day… trust me.

IMG_1527This is Kory! Her wedding is this Saturday & I couldn’t be more excited for her. Her Bachelorette extravaganza started early Saturday morning at Painting With A Twist. We had a private area to paint & munch on delicious brunch food.

IMG_1528We fed our inner Picasa’s with things like these tuna stuffed champagne tomatoes & smoked salmon pinwheels…

IMG_1531Fruit & dip…

IMG_1532An assortment of muffins…

IMG_1534Finger Sandwiches (cucumber, goat cheese & watercress, & smoked salmon)…

IMG_1525Everything was delicious & washed down with mimosas.

IMG_1536 Later on that afternoon, we all met back up at Kory’s parent’s house for a shower. We gorged on an assortment of Thai food. I’m forever indebted to Kory for this Thai spread. I now know that Green Curry is just as good as Red Curry. Rumor has it the wedding is going to be a pretty delicious affair too. I can’t wait to be the weirdo bridesmaid snapping pics of everything I eat. ;)

DSCN0895Since we’re on the topic of weddings, I am officially engaged! Seth proposed Sunday morning.

And before you question the odd patchy hair situation, slightly resembling a beard, his facial hair naturally grows in that pattern. Yes, he was born to have a Joe Dirt beard. You can’t have everything. ;)
